Mid-Century Modern TV

Heywood Wakefield inspired Mid-Century Modern TV.

The case houses a flat screen HDTV. Speaker panel fabric, air holes between the TV and the lower case, and an automatic temperature controlled fan venting out the back ensure the TV stays cool.

Mid-Century Modern Walk-in Closet

Heywood Wakefield inspired Mid-Century Modern walk-in closet and laundry area. Fashioned after the Encore Collection.

Hanging rods for shirts, pants and long coats and dresses. One side has a mirror above the drawers and the other side two shelves. Each chest of drawers features a drawers for jewelry, watches, cufflinks, etc.

The laundry area showcases two large tambour door cases and a hidden ironing board.

The pieces were inspired by the Lifetime Puritan Line single-drawer serving table and Gustav Stickley's No. 336 Bow Arm Morris Chair.

The idea was to create an Arts-and-Crafts chair that feels lighter and more modern than traditional Arts-and-Craft furniture.
